The soundtrack of my novel writing ...

Atm I'm obsessed with this song :)

Mr. Idol OST - Unfinished Song by Mr. Children (the band from the movie)

the rest is here, mainly Mr Idol, Faith and City Hunter OST )

These are just too cute - seeing these two no one in their right minds would think about the 9 - 10 years that are between them. KHS is just so silly and child-like sometimes :)

What I like about this choir is the fact that they not only sing the lyrics acapella but imitate the melody/accoustics as well with the beatboxing and all. Great stuff. They even did several Rammstein songs but I love this Prodigy mix the best ... wait till they do Firestarter at about 4:14 mins. WOWZERS!!!

Last night Cenour was so energetic that he ran around the living room and bumped into my CD rack. So I had to put all the CDs back and what did I find? TREASURES!!! A couple of old(ish) CDs I had totally forgotten. Among them also a HYDE CD and an old (really old) Dir En Gray.

So I spent half the night listening and converting the CD and I think it will be my autumn/winter sound track for this year. HYDE's voice, especially when he sings in English (and it IS English!!), has this sehnsuchtsvolle Leiden (yearning woe) which fits autumn and winter here in G.

Le sigh

Cape of Storms .... from the movie Kagen no Tsuki (Last quarter of the moon)

Funnily enough, Friday night I watched Moon Child with Gackt and Hyde :) Even though I don't like vampire stories this much, the movie was okay. I loved it that they avoided the more vampiristic cliches you'll find in Western movies.

Ah ... and a friend of mine has seen Miyavi last month in Cologne and was all praise and wonder. (A., please remind me to kill you next time we meet, ne?) So yeah I have been listening to him quite a bit as well. And even though I think this guy might have been born already on drugs, I think he is a very good guitarist. I have never seen someone abusing playing an accoustic guitar quite like this AND MAKING IT SOUND AMAZING!!!

And yes, this guy is totally crazy ... or suffering from ADS the way he spazzes behaves. LOL.

Friday morning I got an interesting mail (snail mail) from my doctor - and no the results of my latest bloodtests aren't in yet. Apparently, the storage time of my eggs is running out at the end of this year and he asked me what to do with them. Yes, you read right. Shortly before I got my first ever treatment of chemo, I was asked if I want to ice some of my vertile eggs in case I want to have children after the chemo. Well, at that time my first answer had been No, I don't want to but my parents as well as some of my friends said that I should reconsider. I might want to have kids some time in the future.
Anyway, the time is up for them to be either trashed or kept in storage longer (against a fee). After having discussed it at length with His Hubbiness™, I just filled out and signed the necessary forms to go ahead and trash it. As I'm turning 40 in 2 days and His Hubbiness™ and I don't want any children (having two dogs is like having two children), it is the best way to deal with this stuff. So once they receive the signed waiver, the carriers of my DNA will be destroyed at the end of the year.

Do I feel sad? Or otherwise emotional? Strangely enough I don't. The only thing I feel emotional about is that we don't have any puppies from Chica - how is that for hentai? ;)

However, this is such a beautiful day - almost spring like - that I bring you a wonderful Music video. It's a YaMaki Production and I wouldn't mind watching such a movie or drama. TPTB really should pick the fans' brains ... there are some stunning plot ideas around.

Happy Birthday to [livejournal.com profile] calixa !!! Omedettou!!

I have been rummaging through my CD and album rack and have found some really nice treasures. I think the 1980's were a good time for music, especially the new wave, electric body music.
Strangely enough I almost know the texts of all the songs from that time but had a hard time remembering my logarithms for my final math exam in 1987 *lol* Good thing I came into contact with that kind of music - contrary to the pop of that era - first thing when I became interested in music in a serious way of *I buy my first single*. I guess my inclination for the special, unique and a bit bizarre comes from that time.
Anyway, here are a few songs ...
