Different Worlds Apart

And please take some acting lessons before you attempt something like this .. your guilt was written all over your faces!!!! Rebellion in The Princess Man = Utter FAIL!!!!

Angsting while wiping the blood off your sword ... the sageuk equivalent to angsting in the car while it rains!!!! And Park Shi Ho is damn hot ... Drama Gods, may I have some LMH and PHS and Gong Yoo clones, please?

Watching The Princess Man and if the women of that drama, especially Se Ryeung and the Crown Princess, would join forces this whole mess would have had another outcome. They are so resilient, so pragmatic and strong. It broke my heart when the young king gave up his throne (and ultimately accepting his death verdict).
If I had any say, I'd had those Grand Prince's minions poisoned or something at the gisaeng house. I just hope Seung Yu WILL kill those fat ministers and not hesitate and falter like so many other kdrama heroes.

I would have gathered those bad guys in the palace somewhere under the pretense of a royal command and off'ed them off with poison or some well skilled swordsmen. End of problem ... men can sometimes be so complicated.

As for the bad guys themselves .. the Grand Prince Su Yang is fascinating ... he is such a ruthless monster behind his family mask and if you would only meet him as the loving family man you would never guess what a ruthless, power-hungry killer he is.
IMHO Officer Shim is the worst of all, with no real goal for himself he is just a yea-sayer, submitting to anyone in power to stay afloat. He has no integrity and his inferiority complex is self-created. When he was young and still being friends with SY and JJ he could have been the idealist, the carefree young man, a better man with integrity and goals if he had followed his friends, but he chose the weaker, the easier path and look where that leads him. In power but despised by his friends and ultimately alone because given the opportunity the Grand Prince will off him too.

Other than that, I've really acquired a taste for sageuks. Queen InHeyon's Man, The Princess Man, Arang & The Magistrate (for which I do not see a happy ending).
