scottishlassSome of you might already know that I have a secret passion for The Sims (Honey and OB are my public obsessions ).
Anyway ... the Sims is a game that esp. let's you not only play but create skins and objects so you can fill up your houses with your own styled furniture and knick knack and swathe your Simmie Alter Egos with clothes you like.
Unfortunately, the fandom or better community surrounding this game lefts a lot to be desired for ... faux fundraisers that stink to high heaven, egomaniacal idiots that spam you with 600 plus porno and virus mails a day ... all in all you can say that the Sim community is the world in a nutshell, pity is you get more nutcases than in your normal world. I have never seen so much potential of psychotic and neurotic disorders.
Anyway, I think some ppl really should be shut away ...permanently.
On another topic:
You knwo what I really, REALLY DISLIKE?
When ppl use up your precious space in a database and submit the overall info of a story (rating, title, author name, summary) FIVE times without adding the actual frelling chapter to the story.
And if you mail them and ask them civilly if I can help them with the uploading of the story in question get a nasty message back ... HELLO??? They are coming to ME, use MY space and then I get flak just because I tell them that I'll delete four of the five entries? And that I would like to help them getting their stories up?
Oh well, after such a bitchy response that author won't have the story up at m.i.t.m. PERIOD. I really don't like to provide precious webspace to such a little bitchy idiot.
