Here is a very good recap of what went on about the whole Lennox issue. Lennox was a pit bull/lab mix who had never bitten human or animal. He was seized by the Belfast City Council and murdered in the middle of July after a long legal battle and several offers of re-locating him away from Belfast and the UK.

You know ... the more I think of it the more I get disgusted with the world. Killing an animal just because it belongs to a specific breed ... that sure harks back to Hitler's terror regime and the holocaust of millions of Jews. It is racism just the same, only slightly in a different form.
