These past three days have been hell ... the weather is reducing me into a sweating puddle of goo ... literally. You can't just walk a few steps without sweating your socks off.
But the worst thing is ... I lost my damn nose ring :-( Yesterday when I was out shopping the AC was off in the shopping center and everything was just so hot and my hair was getting in the way do I grabbed handsful of it to put it up .. unfortunately some strands snagged in my nosering and pulled it off. Good thing though from the heat and sweat the ring had opened otherwise I would have a problem now and a really ugly nose à la Jack Nicholson in China Town. I couldn't find the damn ring :-( And it was expensive to boot. So I have to go into town sometime next week to get myself a new one ... something nice and shiny. Perhaps I even buy myself a gold one too, to go with my Indian jewellery. Though I have grown quite fond of my little platinum nose ring over the past 17 years :-(

Oh, SAAB, the good old times. My brother was rather obsessed with it and would tape them and I would watch 'em in secret. I think that I still haven't seen all episodes of it, to this day.

When the first promos for this series were released here in Germany on Vox I was *Oh no, not another Trek rip off* but by the time Cooper Hawkes was running away from the lynching mob in the first ep I was hooked and I knew this is how military scifi should be portrayed.
It is my all time favourite show, it got me into fanfiction writing and through the show I met so many wonderful ppl (both fans and actors/crew).

I admit I got into because of the Glen Morgan/James Wong X-Files connection. Plus I had seen the main chick (her name eludes me at the moment) in The Field Where I Died and I liked her a lot there.

By the time I looked online there was already some very nifty fanfiction, so, what's not to like?

Yep, Morgan/Wong left X-Files after season 2 to do S:AAB. When S:AAB got the axe they got a lot of their alumnis from S:AAB back on X-Files to do guest stints. Kristen Cloke (Shane Vansen) did The Field Where I Died, Tucker Smallwood (Cmdr. Ross) did Home, Morgan Weisser played Lee Harvey Oswald in one of the eps and Rodney Rowland (Cooper Hawkes) played Ed Jerse in Never Again (all season 4), and in MillenniuM they got Kristen and James Morrison (T.C. McQueen) to do seasons 1 and 2.

I love the Wongs (Glen Morgan and James Wong) ever since their work in 21 Jump Street - they are some of the most brilliant writers and directors I have ever come across and genuinely warm human beings.

Any idea what Wong and Morgan are writing now?

They had several projects in the can a year ago but I haven't heard anything new ... best check my friend's page Morgan&Wong Online (http://www.morganandwongonline.com/)

I loved Space Above & Beyond. I was so sad they cancelled it!
