Anywhere you switch to, the channels are full of Star Wars trailers and ads, I really REALLY am fed up with the movie before it even is released. I really don't care if Yoda uses the Force to get a Pepsi (oy, Yoda, if you misuse the Force at least use it on a drink that TASTES right) or that the Revenge of the Sith PC game is already out or that there are Darth Vader masks available. This is sooooo not right :(

Hope my India shop has the Swades OST today, have to grab a shower and then am off to the India Shop. I will also ask if there is a way to make lassies myself ... I know the ingredients but how it is all mixed together is another matter altogether. Need to get a move on :s

I agree. After seeing Ep.1 I was done with all the prequels for good. And even tho its a joy to see my fave TESB at least thrice during this month, I just can't stand the whole paraphernalia surrounding it.
Hubby, nevertheless, already got tickets for May 19th (opening day in Bolivia) because he loves it.

But I couldn't care less.

I couldn't relate to ANY of the characters of Ep1. I don't like kids so the Little Ani factor didn't grip with me, I couldn't lust after QUi Gon and Obi because I don't think they looked too hot and well ... black and red face paint doesn't do it for me.
As for Amidala ... sigh ... didn't care for her or JarJar or anyone else either.
Same and even more so with Ep2. Olly and I agreed we will not go to the cinema, I'd rather watch KoH again than being dragged into Ep3.

If the millions and billions of merchandise Dollars Lucas made with the original trilogy all resulted in those three prequel episodes then he should have given all those dosh to charity, it would have been better invested.

Oh-uh I missed that ... but then we don't get so many US ads here in Germany (THANK GOODNESS) but what we get already borders to overkill :-(

Have you seen the "Darkside M&M's"? It's getting a bit ridiculous.

Yep. and Light Side ones too, of course.

Alas, dork that I am, I will still compelled to haul my butt to the theatres despite the fact that I'm probably going to be cringing for 90 minutes. I think it's the pretty dresses light-sabre fights.
