Freezing rain
May. 8th, 2005 05:10 pmThe weather has turned for the worse. I don't know how I could ever imagined myself a wintery person ... I mean I'm really freezing here, with shivering and all. Perhaps I'm just too tired but I really loathe the cold by now. I don't think I can ever really enjoy cold weather like I did - say - 5 years back.
And the rain drives me crazy, it is almost like sleat and that in May :-(
Oh great and now there was a clap of thunder :s
I need to put up the washing otherwise Olly and I won't have anything to wear tomorrow but somehow I'm lazy, and cold and just too sleepy to do anything much, and I should, like working on the e-shop for my clients but somehow I really can't drum up any energy to sit down and do.
I have really lost a lot of interest in doing the internet thing. I forget to check most of my daily haunts and if I do check them it isn't always as informative and exciting as it used to be. Can you grow tired of the internet? It seems like I have ... which is both good and sad ... good so I have more time in doing some off-line stuff and sad because I used to do so much fun stuff on the net and now it just doesn't feel so exciting anymore *sigh* Dunno I guess I feel a bit pensive/bitchy today. Must be the weather ... and the rain and the cold and the damn sleat and thunder :s
ETA: Will watch KoH tonight at last ... duno if I feel too thrilled about it as Olly insisted of coming too. *sigh* Why can't he just let me go alone??? I know I can't just let myself be taking away with the story when I know he is there and probably mocking the whole movie afterwards or even while watching it. it was the same with LOTR (1st part, he really got on my nerves with his snide remarks), Troy (okay so these where deserved) and others :s

Date: 2005-05-08 08:03 pm (UTC)the "can you get tired of the internet?": i think you can get over-exposed to something and need to get away from it for a while. typically, summer is my time away from the internet and i just cut away, no strings attached. err, at least i try to. maybe you just need a break and some discovery in other parts of life: books, music, travel, etc. or it could just be mood. :-)
and i'm sorry about the olly thing too. it sounds like watching movies with my mom. she is atrocious at not talking, and she gives running commentary, and if it's something she doesn't like [which is 90% of movies] she will make fun of the actors, clothes, music, whatever. and she hates hindi movies. :-/ but i'm sure you'll be able to enjoy the movie nonetheless. try not to let someone else's presence spoil it. *mwah*
