It's snowing ... a blessing and a curse
Nov. 23rd, 2008 10:46 pmSince this afternoon we have had about 15 cm of snow ... it looks so pretty and idyllic and I LOVE the snow. Watching Chandini experiencing her first snow is so cute and fascinating. Cenour too, who snuffles the snow with his snout and tries to categorize what exactly he is sniffing.
But there is a downfall to all that snow. Yesterday, a dog arrived on a flight from Spain but his new owners didn't abide to the security rules (don't take him out of the box before he is leashed, then with leash and collar, put his harness on and leash AGAIN!) and opened the door. Of course, the dog panicked and got away. We have been looking for him last night as well as all of today, but with day light waning so fast, we couldn't find him. I just hope he found a warm place for the night. Though thinking about it, when it is snowing it is usually around 0°C while last night was far colder.
