Last night I browsed the Bollywood news again, and I came across this article.
If it is true, then I can't watch any of Shah Rukh's new movies anymore :s I don't like Aishawarya Rai. I don't know why, but when I saw her in Devdas, I really thought I had to cast up my accounts. She so reminds me of a woman I once knew ... *shudders*.

I love Kajol and Shah Rukh. They are so absolutely cute as the leading couple :) But I guess as dutiful wife, Kajol has to abide to her real life husband, Aajay I'm an action hero turned director's actor Devgan who really hates Shah Rukh and has mocked him for all his light movies.
Well Aajay, apart from Pyaar To Hona Hi Tha (with Kajol) you didn't have any good blockbuster movies to date. I just hope Kajol will see reason and will at least work more with director Karan Johar.

It is just not fair ...

I haven't seen much of Bollywood, but I loved Aish in B & P. I didn't mind her at all, especially as her character was based heavily on Austen's Lizzy Bennett character.

Have you seen her in anything other than Devdas?

*I really should try and find some Bollywood movies to hire out at the local Blockbuster...*

I saw her in Mohabbatein *Love Stories* (with Shah Rukh and Amitabh Bachchan) and in Choker Bali: A Passion Play ... she did a well enough job in both but something in the way she acts or the way she looks, annoys me to no end :-(

Perhaps I don't like her because she doesn't look downright Indian, like Kajol, Rani Mukherjee or Kareena Kapoor. I really put a finger on it.

That's true, and something my friends and I all commented on when we saw B & P in the cinema together. Her colouring and looks don't seem typically Indian... much lighter than the girls who played her sisters in the family. Her hair seems very light brown/dark blonde almost, which could possibly be from dyeing, but her eyes are VERY light.

Yep .. and she has blue eyes.
Okay so Kajol also has very light green-brown eyes but it still goes with her overall colouring.
