When it rains, it pours ...

Yesterday, my parents in law came over for an urgent visit. Olly and I were really suprised because normally, they cna come whenever they want to but this time, they both asked specifically to see us within 24 hours. So when my in laws came, they told us the reason: my mother in law which I love as if she is my own mother, has breast cancer. She will be in hospital on Wednesday and on Thursday she will undergo surgery. Suffice to say tht Olly and I are shocked, but good thing is, Helga has a kind of cancer that once removed, is gone. Utterly gone. Not like mine where I have to dread the examination report every frelling three months. I hope everything gets along smoothly on Thursday. If something happens to Helga I don't know what to do. Helga has been more my mom than my real mom ever was.
