Where is the vacation gone?

scottishlassAt the end of December I was so full of plans and what I wanted to do while on vacation. I mean hey two weeks of sweet nothing. But no it was not to be. From Christmas Eve to New Year's I have been mostly sleeping - feeling so empty and near collapse that I couldn't do anything. But I thought that there was still one blessed week so I could cram all my plans in there.
Oh well, I thought wrong :s
One of my authors I edit for thought it funny to move the deadline forward, leaving me with three days instead of 9 days of editing and then one of my clients got into a tight squeeze and I had to fix their blasted web-shop. WHICH TOOK UP ALL WEEK in between editing.
Now it is Sunday night, I haven't done ANYTHING I wanted to do - like finishing three outfits and a cuddly soft morning gown.
I hate my life. I need a vacation!!! And I have to go to work tomorrow. I don't want to :s

And then I have to go to bed early :s
