Just what does Orlando SPEAK????

Watched the intro speech by OB for the Aviator on the Golden Globes and somethow the dear boy has lost his charming Brit accent. I don't know ... he is now speaking some kind of undefinable blend of English that is neither British nor American. Pity :-( it is high time the boy will return home for the time being to get his Brit accent back.

I agree on the accent part of your comment - but he is still gorgeous. After he played so many characters in a costume, I really enjoy seeing him "natural". I think I even more looking forward to "Elisabethtown" than to "Kingdom of Heaven".

I really didn't think he would be at the Golden Globes though .. dunno why .. but I guess when his buddies go then he will tail along as well. :)

Maybe he had nothing better to do - seeing that he is between movies. Or he has to show his face in Hollywood from time to time, to stay close to the business.
I read somewhere that he is a member of the Royal Shakespeare Theater and plans to take a part in one of their play - one day. That would make my day... Stratford is not that far from Germany - I think I could even persuade my hubby to go there.

OH yes, I think I would take a quick trip over too :) I just there won't be too many squealy teenyboppers there then ... although I like OB I'd rather enjoy the play without the young ones swooning every time OB comes on stage *lol*

I watched the clip you mentioned while I was at a_lady's place and I have to tell you... that accent is SO MUCH better than the one he was sporting at Toronto. THAT was just horrid. This one is much closer to his 'natural' accent and for that I'm singing halle-freaking-lujah. LOL
