Today was a bad day, I was so tired :-(
I don't know what happened but I slept longer than the night before and on Monday I was up and running like Tommy the little steam engine, but Tuesday ... ugh :-(
Had a weirdo dream last night though ... Olly and I were on vacation in India and ... gasp ... at a sangeet of a mutual friend where he started singing and dancing like SRK *LOL* ... he even had the floppy hairdo like SRK, but it was still Olly, without glasses, his beautiful, green eyes all round and cute under those long lashes he has. In my dream he was a good dancer, and his voice sounded much like AR Rehman in Dil Se :D And I'm damned if he didn't sing Tujhe Dekha To from DDLJ :)
I have to admit though the floppy hairdo was once upon a time very real. I have found some old pics of Olly where he was 20 or so, with the same bad hairdo as SRK in the nineties. Olly had beautiful black-blue hair, very exotic looking especially with his eye-colour. In winter he looked like a Celt but come summer his skin is a nice bronze-colour. Unfortunately I only know him as the bald guy he is now, but to quote Guinan: "I love bald men." Especially as it is His Hubbiness().
I have been looking all over the place for my old India stuff and I found my bridal stuff, I had but all forgotten that I had silver and amber coloured bridal jewellery, as well as the gold and garnet ones. I have been wearing so much Celtic stuff over the years that my Indian stuff has been quite forgotten. But I still miss one big clunky red garnet ring :-( *sniff* My red-green saree is still intact (I bought it once to make a skirt out of it) but the red and green silk is so beautiful I think I will leave it be and wear it as a real saree at home when it gets too hot.
My sewing projects are coming along even though I still haven't found the right shoes .. no ballerinas for short but wide feet like mine :-(
