Another Meme & my bday pressies :)
Nov. 15th, 2004 12:45 amAnyway, first off ... Thank you all who mailed, phoned or thought of me on the 14th :) I had a very quiet but fun birthday. Olly's parents came by and we had this HUGE self-made (by yours truly) Blackforest Cake
and talked about everything and anything :) Then I took the rest of the cake to my neighbours and now I can safely answer the question of What is my neighbour wearing? Shorts or briefs *ROTFLMAO* ... it is definitely briefs :D
Olly gave me three DVDs all to do with horses :) HIDALGO, which we watched earlier this evening (anyone loving traditional adventure movies with a high count of beautiful horses in the flick, it is a must see!!), then Olly gave me SEABISQUIT (another horsey flick which I loved when it came out and still love, even in the German dubbing) and TROY (Another horse *lol*).
Hmm I wonder what Olly will say about my drooling over Orli when we watch the movie together ;-)
Here is the meme:
... and this one fits strangely enough, esp. the open ocean bit and feeling alone in a crowd thing.
I love open spaces, but especially the sea. Whether it be a restless mass of grey and churning or calm and deep blue. I can't bear to have mountains obstructing my view of the horizon, I feel caved in.
To quote HONEY *g*: "I can stare at the ocean. I love watching the light change on the water. [Changing] from being windy to glassy. Watching the waves, to me that's ... that's being next to God."

You Are From Neptune |
![]() You are dreamy and mystical, with a natural psychic ability. You love music, poetry, dance, and (most of all) the open sea. Your soul is filled with possibilities, and your heart overflows with compassion. You can be in a room full of friendly people and feel all alone. If you don't get carried away with one idea, your spiritual nature will see you through anything. |

Date: 2004-11-17 07:36 pm (UTC)I'm glad there was much blackforest cake, that your neighbour was wearing underwear, and that you spent the rest of your birthday eating aforementioned black forest cake whilst watching movies with
much hotnessstriking historical realism.Hope you have many more to come.
