Snow so early in the year

For the last couple of days we had snow here in Germany, but Western Lower Rhine area where I live is always snow free. We have a very mild climate and a lot of times we still have green leaves on the trees till mid November. Well not anymore. We have snow over here now too... and it seems like it is staying.
Poor Olly. He hates snow though his to school is not too far, so it isn't that bad, hopefully.
I have to brave the outdoors too. So I will have to dress onion-like to keep warm :) But .. *whispers* I LOVE snow */whispers*

But first I'll write a bit more this morning. Hopefully I can meet the 5,000 words margin so I get over the 10% of my NaNOWriMo. It seems as if I will be diong a mad rush writing at the end of the month. Like my MA and thesis *LOL*
Oh well, some traditions should be respected ;-)

We didn't get any snow in my village - but just 10 kilometres on the motorway and bang! snow and chaos....
