Simming again ...

... even though my game crashes every time I want to visit any of my families *sniff*.
Expanded my Sims even though I can't visit any lots (or even create them *wtf?*).

SMAP - NAKAI - he was fairly easy to create but boy, Goro is a different cupcake. SMAP is still one member short :s


Redid Junsu, Yoochun and Jaejoong as they look now as JYJ.


And last but not least, as I have to wait for new drama/movies till 2013 after he has come back from the military, Kang Dong-won.



I think I will start to create an Edo/Joseon era themed hood so he can be Sad Eyes from the Duelist in there once I'll figure out which of the files is running havoc with my game :D

Sims2 or Sims3? El hubby is working on ports for Sims3, so I might be able to get some insight on that one.

Sims2 ... and I got it working again ... I just got rid of all downloads from this month and bingo one of those files is it LOL
I had Sims3 but somehow those sims all look as if they are from the same gene pool, they look all similar, so I'll stick to Sims2.
I still need to finish my Japanese neighbourhood :D

I already had a thing for Kang Dong-won since Temptation of Wolves but with the Duelist he really blew me away, not only that he looked so eerily beautiful, his sword fighting and his really calm almost invisible acting made me drool. He made me feel like a cougar, drooling over someone whom i am 12 years his senior.

actually, I haven't seen him in much besides "The Duelist". I think the entire film is just gorgeous, the cast, the set, the way the fight scenes are filmed, everything!

12 years older than him isn't too bad! I'm not sure where the line for "cougar" starts, though!

KDW did a lot of stuff actually. With his face and his tall figure he could have been easily type-casted but that boy did the opposite. Make sure to catch Our Happy Time aka Maundy Thursday. He played a death row convict in it and it moves you to tears. What I find so funny is that in his first major movie Too Beautiful to Lie (and dorama 1% of Anything as well) he plays a thirty plus guy, only to turn into a teenager of 19 in the next role (Temptation of Wolves aka Romance of Their Own - points to icon - an semi-incest movie, where I definitely rooted for the wrong OTP). (he was 22 to 24 when he dd those) He pulls it off, even though he never had professional training as an actor and has a diploma in engineering.
After Duelist he played a kidnapper, a North Korean defactor, a psychic and a Taoist monk :) He definitely looks for roles that have nothing to do with his beautiful face, or make the roles even more eerie because of it.

If I weren't on such an anti-dramas kick right now maybe I'd check those out, it's just to much of a commitment, especially the long Korean ones!

I think I saw him in the kidnapper movie. OR maybe it was the psychic one? It was quite a long time ago.

It must have been the kidnapper movie, as Psychic came out last year. Apart from 1% of Anything all the others I have mentioned are all movies, I think he only did three doramas: 1%, Country Girl and Magic. So you should check out his movies, only 2 1/2 hours and very entertaining :)

Oh and what I almost forgot to add ... Duelist was the first movie I wrote about in my LJ. Well, the first KOREAN movie, and the rest is ... as the great scribe says ... history LOL

Yeah me neither ...most of my icons are either Kimura Takuya, dog or Jrock related .. but I do have three KDW icons :D
I hope he is okay wherever the military has put him. As tall as he is he must stuck out of the whole bunch LOL but at least he has an easy assignment .. not like Hyun Bin (My lovely Kim SamSoon) who requested to join the Marines which is no walk in the park.
