Things that really matter ...

Lately I seem to be so busy running from A to B to C.
Sometimes I seem forget that it is important to stop and smell the flowers.
I need to remember it is not always about the destination, but the journey we take to get there.

I need to remember to fully enjoy the ride before it is over.


Chandini had her fur trimmed and I guess we overdid it this time around ... 7 mm is a bit too short, though with the hot muggy weather and temperatures going up as high as early 30's her do is really nice and cool.


And Lulu needs a trim as well ...

It is too warm to do anything else than rest over here .. even when you just sit, it's too warm :s So Lulu is doing a good job in sleeping :)

I had to do a google image search to make sure I wasn't just crazy, but Chandini reminds me so much of Chiana in that pic. The cute face, short 'do, tilted head and long black ear fur in place of oddly placed arms? So very much Chiana.

And I love Lulu's fauxhawk.

TRUE!!! Chandini really looks like Chiana :) And sometimes she even moves like her (the clumsy cat walk LOL)

Lulu will get a new do as well ... her fur is too thick.

Yes, Lulu's favourite thing is to make Siesta ... dozing, lying around ... dozing ... sleeping ... :)

Chandini looks great. I had my dog trimmed as well a couple of weeks back - very short, because with a lot of fur, they seem to suffer even more under the heat.
Mine is just lying around on the cool flooring and only in the very early mornings or very late evenings will she move with some joy.

Same here ... though Chandini now loves to lie in the sun for a few minutes with her short do and then goes back tot he kitchen tiles which are cool. Lulu just lies in the shade and makes Siesta :)
