My Baby-bear gets senile ...

scottishlassCenour seems to be deteriorating quickly. His gait gets really wobbly and he falls over his own paws a lot. Additionally, he seems to be forgetting a lot and he shows first signs of dementia. I fear 2010 will be his last year.
I don't know if I can go through this again, Chica seems to be gone only a little time and Cenour is the last connection to Chica and Pepi and Dusky. The painful thing is that he is the poster boy of the December page in the 2010 TiS Animal Rescue Calendar. He might not be there anymore when December 2010 comes around.
I don't want him to be gone ...
The good side is ... he is still eating well and he wants to go out and about and he wants to take part in our lives. So like him I'm holding on, I'm determined that once he loses all use of his hind legs I will get him a dog-on-wheels wheelie.

Date: 2009-12-31 11:55 pm (UTC)TOday he ran around like a young pup again, I guess his downs are always when it is cold AND wet. TOday it was cold and it was snowing and he was running and jumping and even played. SO hopefully we will have him for a long while longer.
