Old dogs and new tricks
Dec. 19th, 2009 12:42 pmHenrietta had her first lesson in obedience yesterday before it started to snow like mad. She is a very eager pupil and belies the fact that old dogs don't learn new tricks.

She learnt *Sit!* both in sign as well as verbal.
Today it is very cold and the snow stays ... couldn't it snow later in the week for Christmas?

Date: 2009-12-20 11:25 pm (UTC)But she was safe as the ppl running the shelter are all animal activists and not just some ppl hired by the city.
But yeah, dogs have a great capacity to love. I never thought that Cenour would open up as much as he has. Henrietta is a cuddle monster and goes to every human without so much as hesitation (except for really tall men), she is such a kind and needy little girl. I wish we could keep her, but we are not allowed a third dog - only foster dogs :(
