Anything?? Majide? - Gosh what should I write about?!

The rumours concerning SMAP? There is a rumour that SMAPxSMAP will be changed to a different format with other JE co-hosts. Not amused :s

Rumours say it will be Arashi. But it is still a rumour ... though it is strange that for the first time in years both Fuji TV and JE posted messages on their respective web pages saying that SxS ending in 2010 is not true (that rumour comes up every year at the end of the year and this time they actually discarded the rumour officially) :(
AND Kimura Captain saying in What's Up SMAP? that they have a surprise in 2010 for the fans :s
I hope it is a new live (perhaps even international) other than a re-model of SxS :(

Yup, am aware too of the persistent rumour about SXS ending. I don't want SxS to end, I like all the segments. But if this will actually become true, I mean if they have to do it with another J.E. I'm okay if it's Arashi and not the other junior J.E.s

I've heard this rumor recently, too, but I seriously can't imagine it actually happening. For one thing, Arashi already has a show on Fuji TV and a show on Monday night on a different channel, plus their primetime show on another channel entirely. They're not really in the position to take over SMAPxSMAP's time slot. Also, Fuji TV would be kind of shooting itself in the foot to risk something that still gets decent ratings (and still has the same sponsors) after almost fifteen years.

The biggest thing, though, is that SMAP not doing a show together would basically be suicide for the group. And I can't imagine any of them standing by and letting that happen. :)

I hope it will be a new concert ... other rumours say that they might make a show together with KAT-TUN as they have lost rating with their KAT-TUN Cartoon show. Sorry but that that group is losing ratings is not surprising considering how arrogant some of those guys have become.

Haa, KAT-TUN's even less likely than Arashi-- both SMAP and Arashi appeal to a much wider audience, which I don't think Fuji would want to lose. Bistro SMAP is a reliable way for Fuji to promote dramas and other new shows, after all.
