Day Meme - Day 11

scottishlassAm back ... and using this meme to talk about recent events ...
Sooo ... what happened recently? Yesterday I spent almost all day at airports. I flew from my hometown to Munich and back again.
The little dog from St. Petersburg is now in Garmisch Partenkirchen at the animal shelter. She came on Sunday and spent the night with us before being moved.
Juli(a) is a charming little dog lady ... she has very sad eyes still but I guess she thought she had landed in dog heaven as she cuddled up into the sofa instead of bare tarmac. In Russia she stayed in a 1x1m cage with other dogs and here she was free to run around, to snuffle freely and concquer her surroundings. When I handed her over to the ppl who picked her up in Munich she actually looked back again and again and didn't want to go with them, so I had to bring her to the car and put her into it.
Arrival on Sunday
She was very shy because she never had a good home and never was treated okay by humans. But she soon relaxed and stayed on the sofa, like a true princess.
Of course, she found the meat balls and tried to get to them ...
