Saying thanks ...

It is the time of year I guess ... with St. Martin celebrated in my neck of the woods (St. Martin was a Roman soldier who shared his cloak with a beggar in the middle of winter) and winter fast approaching. So what have I been grateful for this past year?



♥ I'm grateful that this year was yet again a year of remission, the cancer has not returned.

♥ Additionally, I'm thankful that my baby-bear is still here and while he gets rapidly older now, he is still here and I can cuddle and hug him every day.

♥ I'm grateful for my husband who is not the most supportive guy in the universe but loves me the way I am.

♥ I feel blessed and grateful for my friends - on- and off-line, and I will try to be a better friend in the new season and year.

awww, you're making me cry! maybe it's b/c I've been sick for nearly two weeks and my defenses are down! but then, whenever I AM sick this long I'm more and more amazed by people who fight and beat diseases like cancer! I'm grateful you're still around, too!

This is such a wonderful idea - to pause for a little while and count your blessings. I often think we do this not often enough. It is so easy to complain and bitch about things and get caught in the various things of day to day life.
I am happy, that you feel better healtwise and that the cancer will stay away.
I had to smile a little, when I read your comment about "his hubbiness". It reminded me very much of Mike.
