I just spent the better half of the afternoon in the kitchen cleaning up the shelves and cupboards and the WALLS. I will never EVAH use a deep fat fryer again, Olly can go eat out of the stove chips like anyone else. That fat is EVERYWHERE!! *shudder*
Another cupboard and the floor where the stove is supposed to go and I'm finished. I will clean up the toaster later and then measure up my shelves and then ... THEN I will take my well deserved shower .. or better yet, my wel deserved super-duper bubble bath extravaganza. HA!

The most expensive gadget in our kitchen is the central fume extractor. I insisted on it after having to clean the fat off the walls in our earlier flat. It was disgusting.

Jiff and lots of elbow grease.

You have my sympathy.

Hiya Miriel,
I think that will be my next project, though the stove will be near the window. But I won't take any more chances :)

Speaking of deep fat fryers.... my hubby used one of the fruit juice makers today. We have a large vine with loads of grapes on it on the balcony - and today was the day to harvest. Do I have to say more......
We got 4 liters of juice out of the grapes. They will propably stay in the fridge for the next 12 Months, because he can't decide, what to do with it. Sigh...
Husbands!!!!!!

And let me guess he left you the kitchen to clean up, right? LOL
Perhaps you can use it for ice? Or a nice *Aufgesetzten* with lots of fruits.

You guessed right! He disapeared into the bath, after the hard work of wreaking the kitchen. I am not allowed to touch the stuff, until he knows what to do with it, sigh. He is a great cook, but he has some funny ideas sometimes.

Hubbies and their cooking/eating ideas are a pain.
