Writing ...

WRITER'S MEME: Sometimes it's ok to pimp yourself out. Post a list of the top five favorite fics you've written, regardless of fandom or the reason you love them. This isn't about the BEST things you've written, but what you LOVE most. Then tag five other people to do the same.
Don't worry, I won't bore you with the above meme. Besides, I don't think Iw ould get 5 fan fics together which are PG *LOL*
But this meme really moved me as I realized that - as much as I like writing - I will never be good enough to be published. Since I was young, I have been dreaming about becoming a writer but I never had the skills to accomplish anything good or breathtaking. But due to my love for writing and my studies as a linguistic and literature major in English I have become quite proficient as an editor and made that my line of work.
(Even though I have to admit that when I read other published writers I almost always think, I can write that myself ... or sometimes even, I can even write better than that. But I guess that is just my own bias. Besides I can't seem to finish any fics anymore LOL.)
I'm always in awe when I edit writer's that obviously have the skills. It is a pleasure to work with a script that obviously has so much imagination. I guess that's why I became an archivist in the fanfic world and a beta reader. I had the pleasure of just editing a chapter of an online friend of mine who is writing GENESIS and I hope in a few years where she hones her writing skills, she will become a published author. She is GOOD!!
Same with
miriel361 who has now become a published author!! Go for it, C. Knock 'em out and concquer the market of romance!!! The same goes to
little_witch27. Babe, don't doubt yourself. Go for it!!
