Forever

She had never stopped loving him, and that was the problem. How could she go on and continue her life, if he was always in her thoughts? She had tried so hard to blot the memory of him out of her mind, and yet now, he was here at summer camp, all the things she had tried to forget were fresh and ready in her mind.

Anjali closed her eyes for a moment. “I have to forget,” she whispered softly.

“Anjali?” Rahul’s voice was heard outside the tent and she knew, she would love this voice, this man - forever.

Last night, I finally saw Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, so now I'm able to appreciate this heartrending piece of writing properly. Oh, the wonderful heartache that still lingers with me after last night!
