WOAH!!!

The inauguration speech of President Obama was very good ... and with a hard egde in some places which I found very well deserved. I loved (and teared up) when he harked back to some themes and words by Dr. Martin Luther King and others. transcript. I seriously hope and wish that in the next few years that President Obama and the whole nation of the USA will overcome the hardships, the problems politically, economically and ethnically they are still facing. ut I know that today, with this speech and inaugurating the first Black American President, the people of the USA are on the right path.

So how did the Americans on my flist spend this day and what are your thoughts and hopes and expectations?

It was such a fantastic moment wasn't it? I was moved to tears by his speech.

I seriously hope he will make a big change, and I'm sure he can do it.
