Can one get inebriated on tea?

The whole day long I drank Caramel tea with lots of honey *slurp* and hot water with lots of fresh lemon juice squeezed into it, and now I feel giddy, and giggly and sort of tipsy. Definitely feeling as if I'm half way on the path to being royally drunk. I didn't top it off with Sherry or whiskey or something, even though I ran out of milk. I tried to run an internet search .. perhaps the lemon juice and the caramel in my tea had some weirdo chemical reaction but nope, no such thing. Curiouser, curiouser.

I'm still pampering my cold and my stuffed up nose. I hate it when my sinuses go from bad to worse. It is already annoying to have them stuffed up on a regular basis thanks to some weird side effect of the chemo but now it is really painful. The pressure against my brain is not good, in fact I think it is not really healthy :s Perhaps that makes me so tipsy ... probably lack of oxygen or something. Oh well, I will turn in soonish so hopefully, my nose won't be so stuffed up tomorrow and my headaches will be gone :s

Over the weekend, Olly and I watched the Star Wars Trilogy DVD box ... I don't know how I feel about the new *style*. On one hand I was so excited watching it. I mean hey this is LUKE!!!!! and Han and Chewie and ARTOOO!!!!!!!!!!! and on the other hand I thought, oh no they cut out the bloopers, what a shame.
I never realized that I had grown so fond of the little mishaps and that they made up part of the charm of the whole trilogy. Anyway, I think all in all, it is still a great tale. I still love it, and if George Lucas thinks the additions and changes improve his vision of his work, so be it. All Hail to the old flannel shirt.
Though he should have added Mara Jade somewhere in the Tatooine sequences in ROTJ. After all, she was there in his first vision as well as in the later Expanded Universe. The trilogy would have been even better with a second kick-ass chick :)

Hi Una,

sorry to hear you´re are not feeling to good - these colds are really annoying. I hate them myself, especially the blocked nose!!! I never got tipsy through tea, at least not the one without whiskey, but it works with coke with me, lol!

I thought about buying the Star Wars DVD´s. Of course I have all three movies on video - but I was tempted. So, you recommend them, like, as a must have???

Just finished "Loyalty in Death". Reading one after another, I sometimes think, there pretty much the same. As if the author took certain paragraphs and just put them back together in another order. But then again, I can´t stop reading them. Everytime I want to have a break or read something else, I am drawn back to Eve Dallas. This really was a great recommondation. The best thing is, I can order all these books at e-reader and read them on my pocket pc. Never thought I would like that, but it is real handy.

Hope you are better soon, all the best.

Hiya Alice :)

I love the new trilogy box, and the documentary on the fourth DVD is brilliant. Even for that alone, I would have bought the set :)

Yeah, Eve is not a protagonist you easily forget about. The murders seem always the same but the history of Eve and Roarke (and Peabody and Mavis, McNab and Leonardo and Feeney) are somehow more important :)

Feeling much better tonight, hopefully I will be lots better by tomorrow even though my sinuses are still stuffed :s
