Behold the storm clouds on the horizon ...

Yesterday while walking a hailstorm came brewing our way and the clouds looked fantastic on the horizon while we were still walking in the sunshine ... it was shitty cold but we all enjoyed the biting winds and cold weather.












We got drenched to the skin when those clouds were above us ... and it was COOOOLD!!! I had to carry Chandini because she was scared and freezing so much, poor thing.

Oh such pretty pics. HOW cold does it get, Una? I am afraid of what is to come in Scotland. Eeek! Even now I am already freezing half of the time!!

Hi Dian :) I'm afraid it can get colder than that in the winter. I told you to get really thick clothes. Best thing you could do is buy a couple of woolen sweaters and a warm coat - best buy something like an anorak with a hood as I doubt you can wear a beanie or other sort of warm hat over your veil. Once you don't need them anymore, you can re-sell the warm clothes before you return home in a second hand clothes shop, this way you don't need to take the warm clothes back to your own warm climate where you will probably never need them again.
Usually temperatures don't drop below zero here in Northern Europe, but wind can get vicious and the so-called wind shill factor can make an autumn or winter day of let's say plus 12°C feel like it was below zero, because the winds are so freezing cold.
