New SMAP song and vid ... I really wish they would make a love song again and not one of those Ganbatte!!Ganbarimashou!MIJ songs .. but beggars can't be choosers :)
Have you listened to the whole single? I've been restraining myself from downloading the coupling as I want it to be a surprise (hopefully it'll be a good one ^^;;) I've listened to Kono Toki though and I like it. It should have the Ganbatte, Ganbarimashou! theme deshou? as it's used for The Olympics XD but yeah, I'm a big fan of SMAP ballads myself :)
Yeah it should have the Ganbatte, Ganbarimashou! theme but you know ... after Dangan Fighter, White Message etc. I really wish they wouldn't make a song for a sports festival or a national holiday, but a plain wonderful lovesong along the lines of Lionheart and the likes.
I miss songs like Lion Heart too. I find SMAP's love songs really romantic. Just by listening it to it you feel like you're madly in love with someone XD Shiosai is one of them ^.^
Awww thank you for sharing the vid! I've been missing out a lot of SxS eps *feels guilty about it* but this video is love love! I miss them sooooo much - and this makes me smile! ;)
So, now, finally found a quiet moment in the office to watch it, or rather, listen to it. I love it! I love the positive mood it gives off - and they all really do look rather dashing. ;) As usual, I think Kimura's got the best footage - those lit skycrapers behind him just looked amazing. Damn him, he's even wonderful with construction workers! *lol* And I loooooooove the way Nakai moves! Who'd have thought it, eh?
Oh I like the song as well .. but I do miss a love song like Stay or Lionheart. Honto-ni. Did you download the subs for Cannes Special? (It fits on a USB stick). Shingo is *choo kawaii* (and has a dirty mind if I understood him correctly) :D
*nods* at one time in Cannes, Shingo was so frustrated he said something along the lines of "Fuck me if I know!" upon Takuya replied something similar to: "Not in front of these people honey". God, I love my ShinTaku :)
You know it is actually fun to try to translate Japanese. As it is more of a pictorial language than a structured language we have been grown up with (with adjectives, verbs, nouns etc.) Japanese leaves a lot to interpretation and how someone says something (and depending it's a male or female saying something). But it is also hard. I wish I could get into a Jpaanese class. I really wish I could read Kanji.

THAT's my man! *lol*

ROFL - brilliant! Though it does remind me a lot of the sort of fanfiction I'm reading these days. I have discovered that the god of Death Note fanfiction is a BLOKE! He's gay, and the way Raito and L bicker at each other for ages in his stories until they finally get down to business is a lot like Takuya's remark above. It would have never (as in NEVERNEVERNEVEREVEREVEREVER) occured to me that a man would write fanfiction, gay or not. But this guy is not only a brilliant writer, but also has a great sense of humour. It's incredible. I worship at the altar of his Death Note fanfics.
Oh there are a couple of gay writers in the fandoms ... Space: Above and Beyond had a good gay writer, Farscape had one or two and now you have dicovered someone in Death Note fandom. They are there - they exist :)
I think the fandom with the most MALE fan fiction writers is still SPACE: ABOVE AND BEYOND because of its military theme.
