Week from hell
Aug. 9th, 2008 06:25 amThank goodness this week is almost over. Not only that I spent some time at the hospital this week but seeing my baby-bear really being sick and suffering really took out a lot of energy as well.
Never expected to be so thin-skinned. I was and still am really worried about Cenour and the little guy is now NOT suffering from diarrhoea but from constipation. If it is not one thing it is the other. He has lost a lot of weight and it is scary. I'm now trying to get him to put on some weight.
But what scared me even more was my reaction to it all ... I was and am an emotional mess. I was really scared he would die. Some weird idea about Chica being with us only 2 years and 20 days, and with Cenour's second anniversary with us coming up on the 9th September, I had this scare of him dying soon.
As I said, thin-skinned :(
I'm home alone ... as of yesterday, Olly is back at work and we have successfully finished our 6 weeks of home together without major ruckus or quarrels. :D
Additionally, Olly has send in his appliication to the Hessian School Authority. They are looking for Maths/Physics and IT teachers and he could become a civil servant if they take him on. Which means ... we have currently stopped looking for a house here in D and wait till the Hessian School Authority has decided. Perhaps in a year from now we will all live in Hessia in a house of our own.

Date: 2008-08-09 02:46 pm (UTC)Cenour (Portugese for carrot) has had a terrible life before he came to us, he was hit and abused by his former owner and now in the last 2 years he has come so far. He is deaf and limping (both due to the hits he received) and he is not the smartest dog but he can be walked without a leash as we are training with him every day (attention training so he needs to look where we are and follow our hand signs).

Date: 2008-08-09 02:51 pm (UTC)I'm always fond of dogs. If only I could have dogs as my pet. Take good care of him ne, I know how sad it is to see our beloved suffering. I once had a cat and he died because he was poisoned by someone I didn't know. We found him dead in front of the our kitchen door. I was soo sad. May that person be burned in hell for doing a horrible thing like that!
