As I was tagged by megoddess here is my part of the handbag meme:

My handbag - soft real leather, shoulderstraps, two compartments inside


Contents: clockwise from top:
black filofax - this leather bound calendar is from the late 1980s. It has been my constant companion since then and it is a world traveller, US, Ireland, Scotland, UK, Australia ... it is a globetrotter. I had to replace the silver parker biro in the mid 1990's when I lost the original Parker biro in Paris :(
silver case for cigarettes - actually, it's an old soap container from the 1920's but I use it to store my cigarettes in. Usually, the lighter is inside as well.
Southern Countries' Dog Forum cigarette lighter - disposable lighter with the logo of the forum on it
a receipt for medication
MP3 player - filled with SMAP, SMAP, SMAP ... did I mention SMAP?
sunglasses - They are brown and cool, I like them.
Hello Kitty purse - It's blue and frazzled and totally uncool but it's mine :)
Motorola cell phone - the keitai strap has a tiny black sheep and a silver skull on it.
a book - I always have a book with me, this one is Linda Furiya's Bento Box in the Heartland
keys - my keys contianing the second key to the car, our front door key and mailbox key, it has a little Lego Luke Skywalker as keyholder and a black long strap.
Fenistil salve - good and cooling for sunburns and itching mosquito bites.
grey disposable doggy pooh bags :D

ahha! mine would be embarrassing b/c mostly what you would see is a big pile of receipts b/c of how bad I am collecting them in my purse! interesting collection of goodies you have there, though!

Good thing I only got rid of my receipts etc. last week :) But I tend to collect that stuff as well, as you can see form the single receipt I already have collected since Monday :) And there are in fact more in there since I took the picture :)

What is strange is that I don't have any care products with me .. no make-up, lipstick or anything :)
In winter I do carry hand balm with me though, as I get very dry hands due to the cold winds over here.

Oh it is ... if it is pink :) But I tried so hard to find something UN-pinkish and was lucky to find this very un-Kitty-like purse :)
