A very bad awakening
May. 5th, 2008 02:51 pmThis morning when I tried to get my PC started, it immediately went into the BIOS mode. NOT GOOD!!!!
So I opened it up, checked my HDD and couldn't find anything wrong. So I got the HDD out, put oanother one in, crossed my fingers .... and the same did happen. What was wrong? My BIOS? My settings? For about three hours I tried and tried and experimented until I thought, well look t the BIOS settings and lo and behold my keyboard was not reacting and some keys were dented. SOMEONE must have jumped u on my desk during the night and stuck some of my keys. Well, the keyboard is toast, so tomorrow I will get this little beauty in the mail:
Black Microsoft ergonomic curve
My interrim keyboard is a straight one and this short entry already makes my hands ache. *sob*

Date: 2008-05-06 05:36 am (UTC)Oh, THAT screen. That shows up on mine when I unplug it completely for a while, then I have to press F1 so that it'll go on booting. I asked Christian what the hell that means and he says it has something to do with the "Akku" time he put on it (???). I think it would have to be set up anew but I don't know how to do that.
