Date: 2008-04-20 09:00 am (UTC)The flower in the pic is a forsythia. It is a bush with tiny yellow star-like flowers. They are traditionally the first signs of spring here in Germany and bloom before cherry, apple and plum trees (which are slowly starting out now over here). What is so amazing about this bush is that it continues to bloom throughout spring and early summer. It is very common in gardens and such and very well liked as it has such a cheerful colour.
