Sometimes I really wonder whether it is a requirement to be both colour blind and having bad taste to be a hired as a costume consultant by Johnny's Entertainment.

Really, what was Shingo and/or his costume ocnsultant thinking?
A cropped top? and a dusted rose coloured cardigan with flowers on it?


However, I love, love, LOVE Kimura-kun's new look. I knew he would have to cut his hair for his new role but I had imagined something more along the lines of Teppei from Karei than Shuji from Beautiful Life. This new look is more like a fusion of these two, the colour from Teppei and the cut from Shuji. Very sexy, very hot ... *sigh*

As for ridiculous Shingo's costume, this "Shingo Lady"... Oh, I'm already tired to guess what JE costume designers smoke when they create SMAP costumes. Did you like Hiro-san's "dress" and Kimura's purple polka hat from Sonomama? ;)

About Kimura's new haircut. I can't say I like it... But well, honestly saying, I always disliked his Shuji haircut, moreover Kimura looks of 1999-2000 with curly hair always were my un-favorite.

So I just have to make up my mind to the fact that at a moment he looks like this... and wait for the next haircut change, hoping I'd like it more. Anyway, I'm not planning to watch this new politics dorama of his, so I'll have to see Kimura like that only in SMAP songs. Not a big deal, I'll survive. :)

ROTFLMAO What the heck is THAT??? Shingo, I LOVE you! *wipes tears od laughter from her eyes* It's hideous! But then again after years and years of fancying badly dressed blokes (Joe Elliott from Def Leppard, Orlando Bloom...), I have learned not to be shocked anymore but to laugh it down - even with tears in my eyes.

I wonder the same, though if that's the case, I'll send in my application. ;) Speaking of which - I just watched that Sonomama live performance from the other day on youtube (the one where Kimura-kun looks absolutely stunning playing the guitar in his checked bath-robe or house cloak ;))... OMG! Nakai!!! What HAPPENED????????!!!! This is... I don't even know what to say! What IS that he's wearing???

True ... btw. I have watched back to back Koi ni ochitara (a drama with Tsu) the last two nights and it is good. I think he really IS a bit on the naive side, as he almost always plays character like this. Though in KnO he also plays a cold-blooded CEO in the later eps and sometimes I was like .. LOL, now he impersonates bad woobie :)

Seriously - I watched that one video of yanie's where she put in so many dorama scenes, among them one of Goro's dramas where he has two children... SO cute! Yanie's videos will be the death of me. She'll turn me into a sighing puddle on the floor. *lol*

Well he didn't look good as Halu. In fact I was really surprised when I saw his SMAP persona after I had looked him up. But as Halu he exuded such raw maleness I couldn't help but fall for this character.

True. But not to the point of 'bad' IMO. I think I disliked his clothing more than his looks in Pride :D His haircut could've been better too.

Oh I thought his clothes looked fairly normal ... he wears the kind of stuff that His Hubbiness™ is wearing all the time, so it was fairly normal for me. But he loked tired as Halu.

I don't really like checkered shirts and I think Halu wore a lot of that in Pride. I like sweaters and jumpers though. I know what you mean by Halu looking tired, though :)

LOL I guess Olly and Halu are stuck in Grunge time, where all the bands wore checkered shirts all the time. But they are so comfy and soft. Even I have a shirt or two ... nothing like a checkered shirt when it gets cold outside :)
