Didn't write ONE word on Friday as the electricity as well as the water cables were rewired in our apartment block. When the electricity came back, my husband thought it would be time to sort out our gateway machine (the one with direct internet access and router to our little homenetwork over here) and put XP on it. BAAAAAAAAAD CHOICE. *Sigh* Why can't men just abide to one simple rule? Never change a running system

I understand your feelings. I'm sorry that you didn't write one single word on Friday. At least, the electricity is back now.

And yes, men can't just abibe to one simple rule. They can't understand that exact rule. Their brains are not working like ours!

When a system is running great and that you can deal with it easily (which is a miracle all by itself!) you should never change it. Men are still men. *Sigh* That story reminds me when my (ex)-fiancé had decided to change Windows to Linux. It was a bad bad bad choice because he didn't even understand that you need to install and program every single thing all by yourself. Even though I was trying to warn him and to keep him from doing that mistake... he was totally stubborn.

Hi Marie,

yeah men can be a real pain in the neck :) ME was running beautifully on our gateway machine, but no, Olly had to have XP on it ... I told him that the PC was too old, but NO I don't know shit about PCs *snicker* Yeah right, I built three out of the five PCs here and customized several others, but no, I don't know shit about computers.

Ah I should make a comic or something ... Mr. Know-It-All, IT teacher and part time geek :s

Oh you know men are imperfect. They don't want to listen to women. They are too proud: they are THE MEN! *sighs*

I already thought about making a comic or a script based on that idea! :o)

Ah chica, I wish he was only a part time geek ... but he is teaching that stuff at business school But hey, men are just imperfect, they are the prototype anyway :)
