Getting slightly but steadily pissed off
Sep. 9th, 2004 08:07 amSince last night the week is getting down the drain more and more ...
First, my computer did a lemming - WHILE WATCHING Calcium Kid!!!!
My power supply unit went zip and I had to exchange it with another one (all hail to me being a geek, I always have a computer for spare parts!!)
So I spent half an hour switching the power units, then it was already time to go to bed.
When I woke up this morning I was in excrutiating pain ... somehow there was a draft on my left shoulder and I can't move it ... first my dislocated right shoulder and now that I can move about again without doing a fairly good rendition of Quasimodo, my left shoulder goes bust :-(
And it is really painful, the muscle to lift my arm aches like shit :-(
Then about an hour ago I heard the news and saw the bombing of the Australian embassy in Indonesia, the 1000th US soldier in Iraq has died and the German government is bitching about Putin's resolve to fight terrorism whenever, wherever with whatever coming short of using nuclear weaponry.
May I suggest aerosol bombs? Slowly but steadily this is becoming my weapon of choice. It is efficient, non-atomic, it is quick, main structures will not be affected and depending on its weight of explosives, it can be fairly contained in the drop zone. (And if you wonder what I'm talking about, watch the first ten minutes of Outbreak)
In two days the anniversary is coming up ... and I wonder what will happen next. First the bombings, then the attack by planes, now the killing of schoolkids ... I hope they never get their hands on uranium and create a dirty bomb.
One can only hope :s
