Our weekend consisted of the following ...

• foamy lattes
• applepie with Chica's fairy godmother
• meeting Dusky, Chica's almost-predecessor
• trip to our favourite bay at the river
• playing in the mud
• Cenour taking a 'bath' in poo
• bathroom antics with two little furries
• big pot of pumpkin soup
• progress on Orenji quilt (aka His Hubbiness™ Sunshine quilt)
• in for the night, anticipating sunshine for tomorrow!


Dusky, the dog we had agreed upon giving a new home to but then his fostermum couldn't part with him and she sent us Chica's photos. The rest - as they say - is history.


Chica - all clean and fluffy after a bath


Cenour - all tired after mud bathing, walking and having a bath (that made his day).

Oops, I forgot a " for the img coding ... but now it's there :) Poor Cenour was sooo tired. And now with him loosing his winter fur early, he looks like a hackly beige wolf :)

I think it was the fact that during December we had a very cold spell and had turned on the floor heating. His Hubbiness™ is one of those who gets cold very easily (such a girl) and had turned it up really high. Thus, Cenour loosing his winter fur and now he needs a coat for outside because he is cold.
