Fashion taste ...

Here is one big example how fashion taste is not always a god-given gift with Asian boybands. Remember FLY by SMAP? Super-cool vid with them in black suits and tie and what did they do when performing live?
Nakai looks as if he got a wrong perm, having raided the wardrobe of a drag queen, Kimura raided his wife's dresser and yanked her pink gymnastic's dress out. Tsu has joined the pink fighter pilot brigade and Shingo? OMG, Shingo looks as if he is part of the Jackson Five and has time travelled to the 70's and went clothes shopping in an OxFam shop. Don't believe me?

No not really, though I have to admit compared to some kouhei groups, SMAP's fashion desaster still keep within limits. But this one performance with those clothes ... OMG .. it was some NHK music show and they performed Serori as well and Tsu looked like an extra for Lee as Dracula.

Yeah,you are right - poor Shingo is exactly from Jackson Five! :D :D :D But Kimura's clothes look for me more like pajama... but anyway, definitely from his wife's wardrobe. :) Somehow I like Nakai coat...but. OMG, that did they do to his hair?! ^__^ He lloks like old lady.

Keh, poor boys, sometimes they have to wear such a ridiculous stuff during their live performances ! Let's do something rude to the JE clothes stylists - for sure they are hentai and smoke something strong, too.. :)

But I hope our dear SMAP men take this part of their job with a sense of humor and have a good laugh looking at each other.

ne, Goro seems ok, and I didn't mention smth wrong with Tsu...
but Nakai and Shingo - yeah, looked like they've gone from an old american movie)) he-he, and this Nakai's coat... is that we called "blond bombshell" or "neat stack of hay"?;)
as for Kimura, ne I like naked torse, but that carcanet is really odd.

LOL! Even with that look I still love them and even more when they're singing FLY, that is probably my favorite song or one of my favorites anyway.

I wonder how many tons of hair whatever Nakai had to use to keep his hair that way! amazing! Well maybe he just played a bit with electricity, who knows ;)

Fly is also one of my favourite songs of SMAP, and I like their style of dancing there (which doesn't say much for my taste in dancing as I LOVED the dancing for Lionheart as well which a lot of fans don't like at all).

Yeah Nakai did use a lot of hair spray. Normally I like duffle coats but in that pinkish colour with the fake fur that is a no go. Only Goro really looked stylish and smart in his clothes :)

LOL! Your description is right on. :P Clear sign i've seen too much JE that this isn't too bad. It's not scary shiny with feathers, sequins, glitter, fringe..etc. XD
