Last night I watched Inside Man with His Hubbiness™ and was reminded of the amazing movie Dil Se when the remix of Chaiyya Chaiyya by AR Rahman started in the first five minutes of the movie. One of my life accomplishments - so that I can say I did it just once - dancing on the rooftop of a running train :)

Dil Se tells the story of a young journalist (SRK) who travels through India en route to his fiance/wedding. He meets a young mysterious woman and falls for her only to find out that a) she is somehow connected to his fiance and b) she is a terrorist (the woman not the fiance).
Beautiful picturization (Satrangi Re is one of the most beautiful yet disturbing Bollywood song scenes ever) and a sad ending.

Woohoo! The Chaiyya Chaiyya remix in the beginning made me a fan of Inside Man right from the start (before Clive even showed up). I saw it in a top secret pre-view in Hanover when it hadn't even been released in the States. We were searched with metal detectors when we went in, and we all had to leave our mobile phones outside. In that scene where the bankrobbers tell the hostages to hand over their phones, half of the audience started cheering and roaring with laughter. *lol* Btw - I liked Dil Se, too. ;)
