Baby-boy Cenour will be having doggy swimming twice a week starting from next Thursday. Good thing he is such a water rat. If it was Chica who needed the hydro-therapy we would have a hard time even getting her into the pool. Cenour will probably jump in and refuse to come out again.

It is raining over here ... the first rain in October *LOL* and now for me it is officially autumn. I love the feel and smell of the streets, those droplets falling on my head and the rustling of the dry leaves under my feet. Chica trying to catch a mouse in the leaves and Cenour standing completely still while he listens to some kind of inner soul music of his own.
Ever since Cenour-Kimura has been ill almost the whole of last month, he is very determined to stay by my side. He either has to have an unobstructed view at me or if that doesn't help, he nowadays dozes to my feet underneath my desk. A thing that His Hubbiness™ is not happy with ... I think his correct words were: "Now we have two dogs already and they still gather at your feet, I want to cuddle one too". Yeah well, someone who only walks the dogs once a day and only for ten minutes shouldn't be surprised if they don't feel too connected to him in the long haul. Oh well, I guess I am being mean again so I shut up about HH and show the progress I made yesterday on the baby quilt. Now I have to do some serious quilting as all the embellishments are in their places.

The colour scheme was talked about with Amelie's mom and who happens to love blue and oranges and also has splashes of these colours in Amelie's nursery:

Projects for next will be Chica's rain coat where I use my old Barbour jacket for fabric, and three of the five things I will be doing for the hand-crafting meme. Hopefully little_witch27 will be able to take her's home when she comes over end of October :)

AWWWWWWWW!! The quilts are so fantastic!!! I hope Cenour's treatment goes well too! I agree about dogs (and cats) - I try to explain this to Sasha, it is very important to have a pet when you are little as you can grow up with it..

Yes it is very important. I had a long-coated dachshund when I was about one 1/2 - Jeanie was a beautiful dog who lived for more than 16 years, unfortunately not with me :( But once you have the time and money children should grow up with a pet. It not only teaches them taking up responsibilty but also have something nice and warm and alive for cuddling which helps their motoric abilities.
