Keep your LJ from being mined for information and statistics by Six-Apart (the company that took over LiveJournal) via Omniture. They are saying they only want to see how many and who access which pages and do not acquire any data on private entries but you'll never know. So there is a way to opt out of this whole scheme:

Got to your Admin console and type in set opt_exclude_stats 1, this will EXCLUDE you from this survey taking and mining.

sorry, I don't get it ... where's my admin console? do I just use that link? is it the same for everyone? how does that work, does it read the code and connect it to my ISP?

Go to the link i put into my post, if you are logged into LJ it will link you to your own admin console.
copy in the part in Italics and you are opting out of the survey taking.
