I know, esp. as in two fandoms (S:AAB & Farscape) I'm in a lot of military personnel has died since that fateful day directly connection to the attacks.

I wish this would have never happened.

She was, we knew each other since Kindergarten and she wanted to come back on the 12th for a holiday.

I feel sad to find out that shocking day 6 years ago has given you a personal wound.

Since then more of my friends and acquaintances have died because of that one event. I have had a lot of military personnel both in my family (on the Scottish side) as well as friends from fandoms (a lot of Space: Above And Beyond fans are mostly Marines, Farscape too has a lot of service men and women as fans) so the resulting war in Afghanistan and Iraq also left wounds.
