So after this weekend where I tried to catch up on all my dorama watching, I made a list of all doramas I am currently watching and to my surprise it wasn't this much ...

current airings (watching the series raw):

I guess I can fairly say that my rule of never watching a dorama before it has been completely subbed has gone out of the window. Even though I hve started with Taiwanese doramas, it has become quickly clear that I do prefer Jdramas. Not only because of Kimura *grin* but also because I do understand a whole lot more than with Taiwanese and Korean doramas. Besides, Jdramas are so wonderfully short - 10 to 11 episodes with perhaps a special thrown in at the end and that is it. Nice short watching and if shove comes to push I can still finish a series in one night flat :)

OK your banner positively ROCKS ^^ How are you enjoying Time of Dog & Wolf? I am not particularly impressed with Hana Kimi j-drama. I liked the tw-version better :D

Currently I'm watching Jumong ~ a Korean period drama (81 eps - yes I am insane!) which stars Song Il Gook. He is oh so manly and macho and I have absolutely fallen for him *grin*

I try not to compare Ikemen Paradise with HK Taiwan, and if I pretend it is an alternative universe, Hana Kimi Japan is cute ... but mostly because of Ikuta Toma. This guy really carries the series while Oguri Shun as Sano is pouting and morose and Maki ... sorry, too pretty for a boy.

You are really brave ... I don't think I could watch such a long series. Good thing I don't like wuxia/historicals too much :)

still backlogged? too long a list to even think about! still haven't finished watching "The Devil" with the subs, a downside of having already watched the raw, for me anyway, I tend to forget I didn't ACTUALLY watch it yet!

hahaha! I love how short j-doramas are, too. The 16–20 episode K-dramas are a bit long, unless the writing is good. I remember when Jumong started airing and everyone was raving about it I watched the first episode. THEN, I found out it was going to be like 60 episodes long and said "sorry, too much of a commitment!"

ya, I rented a Hong Kong/Taiwanese set from my local video store and didn't realize until I got into it that it was like 40 episodes long! OMG! There's just no way! I had to skip to the end at one point and then work my way back watching only bits and pieces, it was just too much! But, I guess some people like those things, otherwise they wouldn't keep making them!

...and oh, I'm not yet done with Akihabara@Deep, I stopped at episode 3, I think ...

I'm goin to continue watching GIFT... yehey! I just hope to find some time for it...

...and oh my, how I am suppose to watch Time of Dog & Wolfwhen all these dramas are on my pending watch list too! *sigh from exhaustion* *LOL*
Lastly, I'm currently hooked with Coffee Prince, will download ep. 7. I'm way behind others in watching this! Argh!

I'm still waiting for Liar Game's last ep to be subbed, though I haven't checked in two weeks so it might be complete now.

Itazra no Kiss is ... different. Even though there are scenes which are just like ISWAK, the whole series is much more tightly narrated than ISWAK but the OTP is not as cute.

Akihibara @ Deep - I adore those geeks. It reminds me of the time at university where the internet just started out and we felt sooooo intelligent and so hip but we all were just geeks with strange behaviours and some cases anti-social behaviours :)

EEE! I didn't know you were watching Hotaru no Hikari! I really thought no one on my f-list is watching it. It's one of my favorites this season. Fujiki Naohito is so cute in it. :)

That rule has gone out the window for me just because Coffee Prince became too addicting. I don't plan on seeing anything else raw though. :) New ep today!! It looks like another super cute ep! YAY!

I know what you mean ... I wanted to wait with Dog and Wolf as well but Lee Jun-ki is too additcting and too pretty.
But Coffee Prince is a must. I am up to ep16 .. so only the special left next week, but ep 16 had a very nice ending as Kdrama endings go :D No walk through snow/dying in snow etc :)

I love Hotaru no Hikari and I don't know if I should root for the manager guy or for the designer guy coming together with Hotaru. :)

Jun-Ki is really pretty but even after six episodes I couldn't get hooked on Dog and Wolf. :( I must be the only one.

I finished episode 16 earlier too! I can't wait for the finale and then the special. This drama really went by fast! I can't believe it's going to be the end already. :(

I had hard time picking which Hotaru to go with too but i love her relationship with her manager. I hope more subs for it will come out soon. I miss seeing it. :)

You know .. I don't care for the plot in Dog and Wolf, I'm only in for the pretty and I'm really, REALLY tempted to ffw everytime there is a scene without LJK in it :D

It is strange that 8 weeks can go by so quickly and I hope that they do not pull something idiotic in the last ep and special in CP.

I like the manager as well, esp. as he is slowly learning Hotaru's ways (I'm up to ep. 6) and he is more like a big brother to her than the boss. Some of the stuff they are doing together is just hilarious, esp. as they're still trying to keep their *relationship* secret from their colleagues.

LOL ^^ I really thought of ffwing when Junki wasn't in the scene too. I've decided to stop watching it. I'm already watching too many dramas already. :P

I hope so too. It's been really good so far and hopefully it will have nice end. :)

I just finished episode 4. The subs just came out. :) I really like how he's learning Hotaru's ways. I love the scene of them rolling on the floor together. :D I'm going to still try holding off watching raws even though i'm dying to see more of them together right now. :)
