This morning at about 9 AM His Hubbiness™ thought it would be cool to re-do our living room. Thank goodness, he didn't want to re-paint the walls but he wanted to change the set-up of our living area and change the furniture around.
So of course, it had to be done RIGHT THEN AND THERE! It is now 02:20 and I finally have finsihed hoooking up the internet again, while the living-room still looks like a bomb exploded. But at least His Hubbiness™ is happy and all his DVDs fit now into one huge shelf, and even all my Asian DVDs have now found a place where I can easily access them.
Tomorrow I have to put all the books back and also get rid of all the junk/garbage that I have found. And then we'll be finished. I just hope we still have a lot of space to put stuff, atm it doesn't look like it, but I won't say a thing otherwise His Hubbiness™ is pouting again.

I'm totally beat and will go to bed soon. But first I'll take a shower - a long, hot relaxing shower.

Oh yes, the urge to move furniture which suddenly attacks without notice! I've had that illness and the only cure is, sadly, the actual moving of furniture for hours after which you decide never to do it again...until the next time.

Oh yeah. And I won't make this kind of shenanigan until next year at the latest. We both have muscle aches in places we didn't know we had and the living room still looks like a bomb blast site :(

Wow! It was a heroic deed! My respect.
From time to time this urge to move my furniture strikes me, too, so I know what a huge and exhausting task it is! And what a mess is after for some time...

What was so annoying was that he decided on 9 am and by 10 we already had have of our stuff moved into the bed room. Where still a lot of stuff remains *sigh*

Well at least now His Hubbiness™ is watching a DVD (as he meticuously installed and set up his DVD surround stuff) while I have been trying to remove the last remains which I can't because we need more shelves *sigh*

sounds like a really ambitious thing to do *gets tired from just hearing about it*

but I won't say a thing otherwise His Hubbiness™ is pouting again

Oh yes, babies indeed. If I had gotten a dollar for every time hubby said it was too heavy or too icky I would be a rich woman by now :s
Almost done, only tomorrow to go and then hopefully we are finished.

When it comes to house cleaning and moving my hubby IS a girl :) two left hands ... if we need a hole drilled or something else, I have to do it :)

wow, you're lucky to have someone to do these "projects" with, if I ever want to move furniture I have to coerce a friend to come over and help! It's probably a blessing in disguise that my apartment is constructed in such a way that I'm limited in my options!

Good luck putting all that stuff away! These things always end up becoming bigger than we ever imagined they'd be! Very tiring stuff!

Absolutely, I think we have now even less space than before :s
But Hubby is happy, so I will let it rest and make do.

ahha! how long do you think it will be before you can maneuver around everything without hurting yourselves? :-)

Hopefully by tomorrow. I really want to get it all straightened out. I want a clean apartment, space to move around and stuff savely stored away in the cellar.

at the moment I have a puppy who manages to get absolutely everything! as a result, it's complete mayhem in my place, piles of papers everywhere on all the tables, as much out of his reach as possible! it's a nightmare! I wish I could think of a way to arrange things so that it doesn't always look like a bomb went off! good luck getting everything tucked away!

It is still drizzling here and there, but no torrential rains like in the UK.
Hopefully tomorrow we will finish all up and I can have a nicely decorated living room by Sunday (keeps my fingers crossed).
