I really, REALLY am certain that I live in a third world country. Not only is our unemployment rate high as a kite, the government trying to make the rich / poor gap even wider by destroying any middle class to speak of and now we had the THIRD power failure in a week and it wasn't the idiot road workers who have bagged in their work (thank you, idiot workers!). Here in Germany we DO NOT have power failures, it is unheard of unless a flash crashed into a power supply thingymegig, but a power failure without any outward cause? Nope, isn't going to happen, or so I thought.
Additionally, it is really cold over here meaning we need to switch on the heating which incidentally is out of order since May and only today (after a weekend of freezing my tush off) the workers have been send out to fix it. Great, just great. I can already feel my right kidney starting the Hallujah chorus again - I always get that when it is too cold.
I lost a client today who is filing for bancruptcy. Good thing the company paid me before they ran out of money but I'm going to miss the regular maintenance work :s It was a nice steady income.
Hopefully my day will improve but I doubt it.
Yeah CUSACK !!! I just love Grosse Point Blank
