Well, garden is a bit grand to call our balcony with all those terracotta containers, but as I tried to re-create a typical English farmer's garden en miniature this year, I think I have succeeded :)
snapdragon

rhododendron, snapdragon, lobelias and myrtle

Oh, how beautiful they are! Your balcony really looks like a mini-garden now. Good work!

I envy you a bit - I stopped to grow any home flowers long time ago, 'couse my cats mercilessly consume any home flowers, but cactus! Even if I grow or buy special grass for them. But I don't like cactus... So there no any flowers in my flat now. :)

My cats eat grass, but they seemed to think flowers to be some excellent delicatessen. :)

My old cat Minze did the same, she even tried to eat my Yuka Palm which is very old (over 20 years and HUGE).
But when I provided her with grass she didn't eat it, stupid kitty :)

It's a pity, but grass doesn't stop my "beasts" from devouring flowers. :D

:( That is really a pity ... have you ever tried these special sprays to keep pets off things?

No. I even never heard about this kind of things, to tell the truth. :)

But anyway, not a problem, I got used to this situation. This is already only a subject of jokes for me, not for upsetting.

These sprays are called Pet repellents because their smell scares cats and dogs off. Mostly used for pups which try to make a pee at prominent tables, chairs or plants.

I hope they'll keep a bit :) Our bamboo didn't survive the very mild winter and I don't know what I did wrong. Even though I have a green thumb, sometimes the easiest feats are beyond me :s

Yea. i think i am way to lazy and too unmotivated to have a garden. though one day i plan on building a zen garden. it would be so fun. i also want a bunny garden so my bunny can get more exercise.

Snapdragon looks awesome!!! I love flowers though I don't have a knack for gardening. My mother is a wonderful gardener though and she has amazing plants in our garden ^^

I wish I had a garden :s

What I like most about snapdragon, apart from the way it looks, is the name of it in German which is Loewenmaeulchen (small snout of a lion) - it's so cute because of the -chen sound.
