I hate WORD and I hate electricity failures

Why doesn't WORD save as it is supposed to save every damn 2 minutes????
FUCKING MICROSOFT!!!!

I had written six pages on my new story since day before last. I had worked long on something last night and saved it, then continued this morning. AND FRELLING SAVED IT!!! But then about an hour ago the electricity went while I still was working and what does this frelling programme do????
My complete datafile is cut in pieces .. stuff that had been saved and closed is missing or in cryptic letters. I HATE MICROSOFT AND THEIR FRELLING WORD!!!
I know why I normally work with Linux, I should have written the whole thing in TeX and then formatted for Word to send it in but no I was too lazy.

Elf, do you still have the transcript from last night?

I am so sorry you lost your datafile. I hope you can repair it. And I hope this will not keep you from writing. I am waiting eagerly for some update or even a new story.

*wince* Oh hon', I can sympathise. Not personally, but Mum had the same thing happen to her once while she was editing this frelling SAGA. 30 pages of comments and suggestions just went POOF! It was not a Happy Moment.
