Feels like Sunday morning ...

Have hijacked His Hubbiness™'s laptop and sitting inmidst green shrubs while sipping my morning tea. It is not very warm but very comfortable sitting here in baggy surfer shorts and a t-shirt and reading all the news. Church bells are going off in the distance and call the believers to prayer ... Strange how I always had to drag myself out of bed on Sunday morning while I was still going to church but nowadays where I'm a heathen I'm up earlier than necessary LOL

Anyway, I just read that Kimura-chan and Katori-chan have arrived in Cannes. OMG! They are on the same continent as I am - this thought makes me grin foolishly and I feel like a 15 year old fangirl :) Will have to visit Mariko at the Japanese bookstore for some news on Monday for some extensive squeeing and giggling.

My fingers are itching to write again which isn't such a bad idea per se, but I have the strange urge to write Pin! Fic which in itself is already scary. But I had a nice idea while waking up for a Liar Game ficlet though why it is NC17 of all things I really don't know. The two main leads don't come across to have sizzling chemistry together IMHO, heck, the looks between Akiyama and No. 15 in ep5 are hotter than anything between Akiyama and Nao so far. *sigh* Speaking of Liar Game ... Nao fell for the oldest trick in the book and I can't believe they are following this story line now. PUHLEASE!!! *sigh* but then again I just love the overall look, the quirky special effects OMG! GREEN MIST!! *spazzes and dies* are just cracktastic!

Strangely enough after watching ep1 of ProDai I haven't watched the following eps yet, I just can't make myself watch it ... I hate Yamapi's new old hairdo. He looked so much better (and hotter) with his black Kurosagi hair. Yeah, shallowness thy name is Una but seriously, he now looks almost as thin as in StandUP! and Lunch Queen. Where did his muscles go? Same way as his hairdo and hair colour??

While looking for SMAP vids on youtube yesterday, I came across a version of Asahi wo mi ni ikuyo with Kame, Toma and another guy ... You know this is the upteenth version of a sempai song sung by kouheis that I utterly dislike. In itself these songs are not bad (how could they, they are after all SMAP songs) but even though the kouheis try to sing them nicely, it just doesn't sound right and this particular version was just thin .. thin voices, thin performance. *shudders* I had the same experience with Easy Go Lucky OMG, one of Kimura's hottest live performances ever and even as album version it is great. Watched Kame and Jin doing it and ... sorry but ... NO WAY!! Too stiff, too cute .. and Kame trying to find his inner Kimura ... just a very frightful sight and not good for the ears.
But what I have noticed is that JE seems to try to find similar voices. A lot of the guys, whether sempai or kouhei, sound a lot like Tsu and Goro - they really seem interchangeable and it seems there is a steady supply of them as I had some really funny moments when I listened to some songs other than by SMAP and they sounded like SMAP (well the parts where Tsu and Goro are singing anyway). And from all the new kouhei groups there are only two ppl I can actually discern from the other voices (and pick up which group is actually singing), mainly Yamapi and Jin because like Katori and Kimura, they have very distinctive voices (and I will keep Nakai out of this equation because he is unique, no one can sing as off-key as he does *pets him*)

Later today I will work a bit more on ep 6 of Gift. Even though I complained to rika_66 that ep 5 dragged for me while timing and subbing it, I very much enjoy the overall story line. It is scary to see Yukio turning into Takehiro more and more. Sweet, awkward and shy Yukio and ruthless, womanizing Takehiro are so far apart and yet it is scary that Kimura seems to slip effortlessly from Yukio to Takehiro and back again. Once the whole series is finished (I'm the tardy one here) I will have to watch it again and will give a coherent and long(ish) review.

YAY! To nice time outside! I also felt quite flat after the first episode of "Proposal.." ( and Yamapi's hair are not very nice!!!) but because allbloomedout insisted I watched episode 2 and 3. It caught up with me and I am really looking forward to it now!!!!

I could only guess that Yamapi is SO stressed with this dorama, that he lost a lot of weight! I was shocked that only after few intial episodes he already did lost a lot!

I think he did enjoy doing Kurosagi and Nobuta wo Produce, because he was pretty then, and just had enough fats/muscles then.

Btw, I think already mentioned this in your previous entry, that I really enjoyed GIFT a whole lot now that is subbed! thank you for your hard work. :)

Yamapi and Kimura both ... I was shocked when I saw pictures of a Fuji TV launch party in Cannes last night, where both Katori Shingo and Kimura attended, Kimura looks so thin and tired, the poor man.

Yamapi really has to take care of himself a bit better. Isn't he having summer exams right about now? Poor Pi.

Oh, really? :( Poor fellow. I hope he'll have some time-out after the end of "Hero" filming. The last 2 years were very intensive, busy and nervous for him.

He looks dead tired on his feet and he is soooo thin (the outfit he choose didn't help much either - it is just plain ugly IMHO).
But it is good that he is there with Shingo. As he is on a health trip again (no mayo) he will take care of Takuya a bit.

I hope he will have some time off after Hero. It seems there will be no concerts this year, or JE takes its sweet time to announce the tour dates.

Btw, I was about to make an entry about Takuya's weight after watching the latest SXS episode. I could'nt believe my eyes! He is indeed so thin nowadays. Though I have not seen Fuji launch party pics, but yeah, the sxs episode is a bit appalling.

Oh, you still didn't see REAL Takehiro! After 5 episodes he's still not here! Oh yeah, he's a scary thing... But sexy as a hell, I have to admit! :) When in later series Takehiro suddenly appears from inside Yukio, when the guy is dealing with Chiaki, poor girl will be scared to the state of a shock. I love the last 2-3 series, but the 5th one is not bad, too.

Catch the checked 5 subs in e-mail - it's done! We are good girls. :)

You know, about Chiaki - the same with me.. She annoys me strongly. I don't like stupid chicks. But in the last series I even felt a bit sorry for a poor girl. She is sincerely in love, but her love is absolutely hopeless, poor thing.

It's not that they are ruined, it is just different and I have sometimes the feeling that the emotions don't come across :s
