Lovely day

I managed to sleep in bed at last after several days where I fell asleep at my computer or on the sofa reading. It was good to put my legs up again. I guess I should do that more often.
It is a lovely day .. it is not too warm but the sun is brilliant ... really really lovely :) His Hubbiness™ is still asleep on the sofa and wrapped up in his duvet. So you see it is NOT hot over here.

18th cent. Stays

After having tried out my chemise with various bras (underwire, shorts etc.) I have come to the conclusion that I need 18th century stays. *sigh*
For those who have no clue what I'm talking about ... here are a few links Jessamyn's Costume Companion & Elegant Musings' Stays

As I don't have the patience nor the skill to sew something like THAT I need to find something similar .. I thought about undergarments like my granny used to wear .. these bustiers which were almost like an armour. Hmmm... now off to find a site or some on ebay.
