scottishlassAfter having tried out my chemise with various bras (underwire, shorts etc.) I have come to the conclusion that I need 18th century stays. *sigh*
For those who have no clue what I'm talking about ... here are a few links Jessamyn's Costume Companion & Elegant Musings' Stays
As I don't have the patience nor the skill to sew something like THAT I need to find something similar .. I thought about undergarments like my granny used to wear .. these bustiers which were almost like an armour. Hmmm... now off to find a site or some on ebay.
